With over fifteen years of live performance experience having worked with countless bands and artists representing almost every genre imaginable, Mitch has established himself as an extremely versatile and dependable drummer.

Specialising in pop, rock, dance, RnB, hiphop, alternative and Motown styles, Mitch brings a wealth of knowledge to every gig, allowing him to adapt to the differing requirements of each band/artist and venue.

When necessary, Mitch has no issues working with click tracks, samplers and sequencers, and is very familiar with operating DAW software suites (such as Logic and Digital Performer) live to enhance performances. He can also sight read fluently and has been involved in over sixty separate stage productions over the course of his career.

Mitch’s lessons focus on a variety of different concepts such as reading, technique, groove, musicology, ensemble skills and composition.

As students develop, Mitch tailors lessons to assist and encourage them to reach their personal goals. This may be in the form of taking external exams, joining a band, or preparing for high school/college music assessments.

Mitch currently teaches one on one Zoom lessons from his home studio to students from all over the world, as well as in person exclusively at St Joseph’s College, Hunters Hill, Sydney.
